RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keeping agency projects running on-time and on-budget from start to finish understanding all aspects of your projects, including creative
  • Allocation of internal digital resources
  • Creation of detailed, accurate project plans
  • Resource forecasting
  • Budgetary reporting and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues
  • Coordination with contract resources when needed
  • Helping to create strategic approaches for digital projects
  • Communicating with clients when needed
  • Ensuring usability and interactive functionality across all digital projects
  • Experience with modern technical project management (agile)
  • Basic knowledge of development/Product lifecycle
  • Understanding of database heavy projects and process
  • Collaboration with project managers and other departments to produce amazing work and develop and refine processes
  • Right hand person to Chief Digital Officer, assisting with all aspects of the digital landscape and lightening the CDO’s workload wherever possible
  • Learning new skill sets and researching technology platforms
  • Helping to educate other staff members on best practices for digital

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in project management/ digital production, in an agency environment
  • Experience working with technical, design and copywriting teams
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Keynote
  • Knowledge of digital advertising and marketing
  • Experience across 
    • Web application development 
    • Mobile application development 
    • UX and IA development
    • Digital creative development
    • Email / CRM
    • Social media
    • SEO/SEM
    • Content development
    • Analytics and data visualization
    • Testing and optimization
  • The individual may not have direct experience developing al of the above items but should have a true willingness to learn them and a desire to provide support for our CDO in these areas
  • Flexible — we are a “find a way to get it done” type of agency and need a flexible thinker who can accommodate us and our clients
  • Positive attitude — we believe a positive attitude can make even the most challenging of projects fun
  • Strong desire and willingness to expand your role, learn new skill sets, technologies and grow in terms of digital strategy
  • Solid communications skills — clear and proactive communication with internal teams is crucial to the success of the agency
  • Confident yet humble – we seek individuals that can lead and at the same time are always willing to listen first
  • Extremely well organized and works efficiently — it’s a fast-paced industry and we need to be able to move at that pace to keep up with, and get in front of, our clients
  • An eye for creative and a general understanding of how to estimate creative for development related projects
  • Strong attention to detail — small errors can have big impact when it comes to project success
  • Ability to work in a team environment — we are collaborators and do our best work when we work as a team. You’ll be the voice of our digital department, expected to educate and guide other departments and teams on all things digital
  • Ability to handle pressure and challenging situations — the digital world is ever changing and you must be able to roll with the punches
  • Bright, energetic, collaborative, goal-driven personality — you are the engine of our workflow and therefore set the tone for projects
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines — we run a lean, efficient and sometimes scrappy ship. There’s a lot to do at all times.
  • Understanding of agency process — having an understanding of agency processes will ensure you can jump right in and get to work
