Part of the BWB model is "Better With Giving" and that is just what our team has been up to the last couple weeks.
First Descents Climbathon:
Hanna and Abby headed to Boulder to help out with the local climbathon! Climbing Gyms all over the country donate time and space for our community to come out and climb for First Descents. People create fundraising pages with different climbing challenges and then on April 18 we all head to the gym to have fun and raise some money! This year they raised over $50,000!!
Wish For Wheels:
The whole team participated in sponsoring and decorating a bike for Wish for Wheels. All of Battery621 tenants helped to donate multiple bikes. Wish for Wheels’ goal is to give as many kids as possible brand new bikes and helmets. It brings communities together, gives many of us the opportunity to give back, and most importantly puts a whole lot of smiles on a whole lot of faces.
MyLifeLine's Jockeys, Juleps and Jazz:
Mike, Starkey, and Marty volunteered to help set up for one of MyLifeLine's largest fundraisers. Dave and Hanna joined in for the fun too! The live and silent auctions were a big hit and the hat contest contestants went all out!
