At BWBacon, we strongly feel that Denver offers a spirit of entrepreneurship and a community supportive of new businesses that is unique in the United States and perhaps even the world.

Sharing our affection for Denver, WorldDenver is a non-profit community organization dedicated to advancing a deep understanding of global affairs and cultures among globally-minded Coloradans. They regularly bring international delegations to Denver to give them the chance to observe best practices in economic development and accountable governance. Our CEO, Dave Bacon, has regularly met with these delegations to share his own experience running a business in Denver and how the shared, cooperative spaces at our offices at Industry and Battery can boost creativity and collaboration.

Gergana Kostadinova, Program Coordinator for Professional Exchange Programs at WorldDenver, attended one of Dave’s meetings with their international delegations and had this to say about the experience, “After meeting with Dave and Brian (Williams from AVL Growth Partners), this delegation had a greater understanding of entrepreneurship in American culture and the discussions that ensued between them and the delegates also covered the state’s and the city’s growing economic strength and entrepreneurial spirit. Many of the delegates identified this meeting as one of the most important for them while they were in Denver.”

In addition to meeting with Dave, the delegates also meet with state and local government representatives to learn about the various sources of support for entrepreneurship in Colorado and Denver. Many delegates come from countries where entrepreneurship is not supported to the same degree as in Denver so these visitations can be very eye-opening. Denver is indeed becoming a hub for entrepreneurship even here in the United States, and BWBacon is proud to support growth here and abroad. Dave in particular is enthusiastic about these types of opportunities and looks forward to future visitations from WorldDenver’s delegations.
