Dave and I are back at work after a very special day at Lone Tree Elementary talking to a group of about 500 kids about Making a Difference. Dave was the opening presentation for Lone Tree’s Making a Difference Mondays. I know we had just as much fun as the kids and left energized!

A few weeks ago Dave Bacon was asked to speak to Lone Tree Elementary about his work on the board of directors for the Playing for Change Foundation and the O’Brien School for the Maassai. Dave gave an awesome interactive presentation and getting all the kids excited about how they could make a difference too. He spoke to kindergarten through sixth grade and both groups thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a lot of great questions!

Here’s a short video of the first group (Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders) clapping to the beat (well…sort of) to Playing for Change’s Stand By Me cover:

So adorable!!
