Confience exists on the non-pharma side of LIMS users, with customers in food and beverage, life sciences, energy, chemical, and manufacturing industries.

Think Ocean Spray® testing cranberries for their classic juice – Confience’s technology allows them to track shipments, manage products and dates, and collect test data so if there are any issues, they know exactly where the cranberry batch came from and where it ended up, saving time and reducing product loss.

Managing testing and the chain of custody throughout production and delivery, their flagship SaaS product, the Confience myLIMS platform, helps customers eliminate outdated, clunky software in exchange for professionalizing via modern technologies, enhanced QI Lab, and new data capabilities. Aspiring to eliminate limitations of legacy systems with the implementation of modern, cloud-based technologies, the myLIMS platform increases efficiency by automating routine tasks and centralizing data management from sample intake to reporting.

Building A Global Team

As Confience scaled rapidly after merging ATL and QSI in 2024, the challenge at hand was to build a technically adept team with the right mix of experience, and quickly, including:

  • Fill niche technical roles and establish operational leadership for customer-facing projects
  • Establish a presence in Guadalajara, Mexico, while preserving company culture and core mission continuity

Our team then developed and executed a hiring strategy that prioritized agility and seamless integration for new talent joining the Confience team.

Activating our workforce delivery approach, we tapped into an international network of experienced engineers and product/marketing leaders. Specifically for this search, we sourced top talent in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Rather than rushing through the process, we prioritized quality:

    • Multi-stage vetting through recruiter screens, technical discussions, cultural fit assessments, and reference checks.
    • Navigated communication challenges to ensure transparency, fair offers, and legal compliance for workers based in Mexico.
